Hamilton to Disney +
Disney has decided to premier the filmed musical version of “Hamilton” on Disney +, rather than the traditional movie theater.
While Disney has normally made a killing at the box office with their huge theatrical releases, sending “Hamilton” straight to their new streaming service could show how serious Disney is about Disney +. Currently Disney + has 60 million subscribers, and is second in the streaming world only to Netflix.
It’s only a matter of time…
