Hidalgo County Re-Enacts Shelter in Place

Due to a heavy increase in rising cases from the Coronavirus, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez has enacted a Shelter at Home Order.

The order requires all residents to wear face coverings in public spaces, as well as a curfew, travel restraints, a mandate to Shelter-At-Home, and more. Read the full order here.

The new orders will go in to effect Wednesday July 22nd at 12:01am and will continue until August 5th at 11:59pm.
