SPI Re-Opens Beaches

Gov. Greg Abbott’s re-opening of Texas Beaches will override any local mandates. This means South Padre Island will be open to the public starting May 1, 2020.

There are still guidelines that beach-goers must follow, such as minimizing contact with people who are not in the same household.
